Import/Export Coordinator – Delavan, WI

We have an opportunity for an Import/Export Coordinator to join our Delavan, WI team. You will be responsible for the movement of material out of the country in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Prepares export documents in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Duties will be to assist the distribution team in completing the daily allocation of Intercompany & International sales orders ensuring that we are fulfilling customer orders. Researches and analyses freight costs. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
You will:
Allocate Intercompany & International sales orders from ERP systemCoordinate with Customer Service department in the fulfillment of ordersPrepare export documents in accordance with established procedures and trade laws & reconcile export issuesTrack and reconcile Intercompany & International sales orders released to the distribution floorKeeps export documents filed per record retention rules.Must work closely with GBU Logistics Manager communicating forwarder or carrier issuesResponsible for the movement of material out of the country in compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsAttend various departmental meetings and work cross-functionally with shipping departmentKey Qualifications:
Requires a minimum of 2 yrs experience in import/export coordination & documentation3-4 years SAP ERP System experience requiredAcknowledge and understanding of compliance requirementsAbility to make decisions and multitask in a fast-paced environmentProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is requiredGeneral knowledge of the distribution department and products is a plusMust be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracyMust communicate clearly and in a professional mannerCompensation:
The hourly pay for this role is: $23.00 - $25.00/hr. DOE. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
