At H&M we are looking for an Imports/Exports Manager to join the Distribution Centre at Marsden Park. This is a Fulltime position, with 2 direct reports.

Job DescriptionCoordinate and manage all regional import and export processes for commercial and NCGEnsure and manage efficient handling of customs formalities in cross-region tradesTimely submit entries for customs clearance and ensure compliance with global rules, standards and regulations set by Global Trade & CustomsSupport opportunities to optimize regional customs and tax in line with local regulations and aligned with Global Trade & Customs department and strategiesCommunicate with state customs and other reg. regulatorsSupport global initiatives/projects with reg. expertise,Closely collaborate with Tax and Accounting to ensure compliance with country requirementsAct as local first contact to Regional Sales for cross-border questions for existing set upsEnsure compliance with global rules, standards and regulations set by Global Trade & Customs

QualificationsDeep expertise in import and export processes in region across all types of cross-border flowsStrong understanding of global Trade & Customs rules and regulations for regional executionSolid overview on relevant regional market environment and cross-border trade relationships Strong communication & coordination skills Proven experience in leading a teamExperience in a similar role.
