IMS Analyst - Position Description

ICI Services is an Employee-Owned Company providing Engineering & Integration, Systems Acquisition, Information Warfare, and In-Service Sustainment support to government customers. We are seeking a  Integrated Master Scheduler Analyst to support our Navy customer in Washington, DC

Security Clearance:

Applicant must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Role Summary:

        The Senior Integrated Master Scheduler will play a critical role in developing, coordinating, and maintaining comprehensive schedules for various naval projects under PMS 300/325. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project scheduling within the defense sector, with an emphasis on naval or maritime projects. This position requires an in-depth understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) planning, scheduling standards, and compliance requirements.

Position/Job Description:

General Tasking Description:

·        Develop, integrate, and manage project schedules for naval projects within PMS 300/325, ensuring compliance with DoD standards and requirements.

·        Work closely with project managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to gather information, update schedules, and communicate changes effectively.

·        Monitor project progress against the master schedule, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions to mitigate delays.

·        Conduct thorough risk analysis and develop risk mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines and deliverables.

·        Provide expert scheduling and planning guidance to project teams, ensuring best practices in project management and execution.

Experience Requirements:

        At least 7 years of experience in project scheduling, with a focus on defense, maritime, or naval projects. Experience with Navy PMS projects is highly desirable.         Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6) and familiarity with DoD scheduling practices and compliance requirements.         Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.         Strong candidate who has experience working directly with the Navy or other military branches.

 

Educational & Certification Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is required.

·        Master’s Degree or relevant military education is preferred.

·        PMP or PMI-SP Certification
