CTG's premier client has a remote contract assignment for an C# Software Developer but **experience with Siemens Opcenter / Camstar is required.**
**Type** : Contract
**Job Title** : IMS Software Developer (.NET, C#, Angular)
**Location** : 100% Remote. Prefer candidates on the East coast (EST or CST). Open to candidates in PST or MST, but must be willing to work EST hours.
**Pay Rate** : $65-70 per hour
**Work Hours** : M-F 8am-5pm
**Education** : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science

**Description:**
This role involves working alongside an experienced team to deliver manufacturing systems solutions through custom software development and configuration of existing products. You will be expected to quickly learn new technologies, perform unit tests, and collaborate effectively within project teams to meet key milestones.
Responsibilities:
+ Collaborate with software engineering teams to deliver Manufacturing Systems solutions using both custom software applications and off-the-shelf products
+ Learn new technologies and tools quickly, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends
+ Work across multiple levels within project teams to design, code, test, and implement solutions
+ Perform unit tests to ensure the quality and functionality of developed components
+ Deliver project milestones on time and within budget
+ Create and maintain technical documentation for developed projects
**Requirements:**
**Education & Experience:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
+ 3+ years of experience in .NET development, including .NET Core or C#
+ Hands-on experience with source code management tools (Git, TFS)
+ Familiarity with Manufacturing Systems (e.g., Siemens Opcenter Ex, Camstar) is a plus
+ Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Analysis
+ Experience with web development technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Angular
+ Familiarity with UI design principles and UX concepts
+ Proficiency with relational databases and SQL query language (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $65.00/hour to $70.00/hour. Salary offers are based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, market factors, and any applicable licensure or certifications. A competitive benefits package is also offered.
