Quality Control Inspector - Incoming Job Purpose: The Quality Control Inspector will manage and conduct Mechanical and Visual Inspections on Incoming Materials through the Inspection Dept. in accordance with established procedures, Quality equipment and inspection methodologies. Nature of Duties: Managing and working through daily priority inspections, conducting the inspections and documenting all results. Inspections will be performed both by hand tools as well as Keyence, Comparator, Micro-Hite, Granite Top set-ups, and precision tools. This position will interface with manufacturing and supply chain functions to ensure requirements are met. Any Non-Conformance will be clearly documented on NCMR’s and processed in the Agile /Oracle database and moved to MRB for the Material Review Board to disposition.  Production Floor In-Process inspections on Sub-assemblies and Final product will also be a part of this inspectors responsibilities. Perform Dimensional inspections using Quality equipment and/or basic precision instruments to meet Drawing specification and tolerances on Incoming Materials Must be able to read and interpret drawings, understand GD&T. Visual Mechanical Inspection (VMI) on Incoming materials, In-Process, and Final Product for Box Builds, Sub-Assemblies, etc. using Visual Aids and Work instructions in Database, Drawings, etc. Use Company Operating System to perform movement of materials in Oracle Perform Incoming, In-Process and Final inspections Conduct AS9102 First Article Inspections and verify applicable documentation prior to Engineering   Education and Experience: Minimum of 3 years Mechanical Inspection experience Machine shop experience a plus Must have experience ISO environment Familiar with reviewing materials accompanying documents (CofC, test data, etc.) from Suppliers Basic computer skills a must Must possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer – M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity
