Scope:
A Functional Analyst Int works with team members to produce software solutions for product teams during the development and execution phases. Is part of a self-organized agile team and interacts with team members on release deliverables. Assists team members in supporting customer and implementation related issues. Is responsible to install and configure relevant products for the purpose of functional validation. The key responsibilities include:What you’ll do:
Develops good understanding of the defined product area from a functional perspective and demonstrates it by resolving product issues.Works with BAs and development to identify business scenarios for various industries where the software is providing business value.Ensures the implementation and execution matches the overall functional design. Assesses the functional testing requirements of each feature or product issue.Assists in the identification of consistent test data to be used across features. Participates as a functional QA engineer on projects and tests the product functions and features thoroughly. Responsible for continuous improvement of functional test coverage for existing features. Reviews product documentation of both existing and new features.Provides cross-training and education to test and development personnel as required. Understands business requirements and designs provided to develop and execute functional test cases.Follows standard development processes and procedures. Demonstrates problem solving and innovation ability in software development and maintenance tasks.Proactively picks up development and maintenance tasks. Plans and prioritizes own work with input from the lead or manager.Proactively notifies the lead or manager of impairments to commitments. Proactively seeks or provides assistance as required. Participates in implementing performance benchmark tests.What we are looking for:
