In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in creating meaningful experiences and offering invaluable assistance to adults with disabilities. A Day in Your Life: + Implement personalized 1:1 or 1:2 in-home and community activities, promoting independence and personal growth. Conduct sessions designed to deliver stimulation, joy, and emotional support. + Manage participants' medical and personal care needs, including assistance with bathroom use, changing of adult diapers, and assistance with feeding while collaborating with family members or support staff. + Foster a positive environment, encouraging active participation in various activities utilizing effective prompting and cueing. + Maintain detailed progress notes on participant goals, ensuring individualized care. + Develop and implement behavior management plans when required. + Complete records and reports in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. + Serve as an advocate and positive role model for the individuals you support.
