In-House Advocate | Qualified Barrister or Solicitor with Higher Rights | National Law Firm | Flexible Location We're currently supporting a national law firm in an exciting project to strengthen their in-house advocacy team. There is a fully flexible working policy. The firm are seeking a qualified Barrister or a Solicitor with Higher Rights to work on an employed permanent basis across a diverse range of advocacy and advisory matters spanning multiple legal disciplines to include Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Law alongside other disciplines. The Role Joining their specialist in-house advocacy team, you will: - Provide expert advocacy services across your preferred range of legal disciplines. - Undertake drafting and advisory work, supporting colleagues in case preparation. - Represent clients in court hearings, both remotely and in person. - Collaborate with legal teams to ensure the highest standard of client service. - Develop strong relationships with case handlers and key stakeholders. - Contribute to the firm's growing advocacy function, helping to shape its development and strategy. Requirements The ideal candidate will be: - A qualified Barrister or Solicitor with Higher Rights of Audience (Civil or Criminal). - Experienced in advocacy ideally within Personal Injury or Clinical Negligence law. - Skilled in drafting and advisory work, with a strategic approach to case handling. - A confident and effective communicator, able to build relationships with case handlers and clients. - Capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
