**Job Title: In-House and Travel Welder / Fabricators 1st, 2nd, and Nights**
**Job Description**
As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be an integral part of the Fabrication team, responsible for manufacturing products that meet or exceed customer expectations. You will work with the latest laser welding technology to produce high-quality heat exchangers primarily used in food manufacturing. This role requires a strong commitment to quality, punctuality, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Follow production drawings to weld and fabricate products, ensuring geometric and dimensional tolerances.
+ Perform welds per specifications on thin gauge stainless steels.
+ Prepare, weld, and polish food grade stainless steels.
+ Perform basic setup and maintenance on weld machines.
+ Obtain ASME weld certification as per company standards.
+ Adhere to standard ASME guidelines based on Section VIII of the Boiler & Pressure Vessel code.
+ Collaborate across departments to identify and resolve issues.
+ Manufacture products according to job packets and inform the office of any missing materials.
+ Independently complete assigned tasks while maintaining company objectives and goals.
+ Identify and process various material grades and finishes.
+ Perform product inflation and leak testing.
+ Operate an overhead crane and forklift, and perform manual lifting.
+ Ensure work areas are clean and orderly.
+ Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ Mig or Tig welding experience.
+ Heavy assembly experience.
+ Advanced training in welding or a minimum of 1-year experience in welding/fabricating stainless steel.
+ Basic blueprint reading skills.
+ Ability to read a variety of measuring devices including tape measures, micrometers, and depth gauges.
+ Exceptional attendance and punctuality.
+ Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, hammer, and lift for prolonged periods.
+ Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
+ Ability to adapt to stressful situations and meet short deadlines.
+ Willingness to work off shift and overtime as necessary.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience using a forklift and overhead crane.
+ Exposure to ASME guidelines.
+ Familiarity with different types of stainless steel.
+ Ability to read blueprints and perform quality checks using micrometers and calipers.
+ Recent manufacturing experience, including the use of a metric tape measure.

**Work Environment**
Our plant is relatively new, clean, and well-lit, with approximately 50 employees across three shifts. The facility is divided into sections for machines and welders, ensuring ample space for each worker. You will receive three months of training with an experienced operator before working independently. The culture here is very important, with a strong emphasis on positivity and good character.
**Shift Hours**
In-House Shifts:
1st Shift M-F
2nd shift 1p-11p or 2p-12p M-TH
Traveling Welder Shifts:
1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts including weekends.
Travel up to 100% of the time typically on the following rotations: 7 on 3 off or 12 on 5 off.

- All Travel Coordinated In-House
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.

**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in New Berlin,WI.
