We are looking for a dedicated In-House Attorney with at least 5 years of experience in employment law to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and defending against employment claims, particularly focusing on frivolous PAGA lawsuits, which are prevalent in our industry.
+ Lead the legal strategies in response to claims and other employment-related litigation.
+ Conduct thorough document reviews, searches, and production to ensure comprehensive case preparation.
+ Collaborate closely with external legal advisors to determine litigation strategies, resolution, and settlement negotiations.
+ Educate and advise company stakeholders on current employment litigation trends, potential legal risks, and legislative changes affecting the staffing industry.
+ Manage cases independently through all phases of litigation including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, dispute resolution, and trials or hearings.
Requirements
+ 5 years experience as an employment litigation attorney
+ Licensed to practice law in California.
+ Ability to manage a case from start to finish.
+ Proven track record in litigation and dispute resolution, including trial/arbitration experience.
+ Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
+ Ability to work effectively with various levels of the organization and to influence senior business leaders.
+ J.D. Degree from an accredited law school.
