Description
We are currently in search of a highly skilled In-House Paralegal, specializing in contracts management to join a dynamic legal department. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our company’s contracts, serving as a crucial link between our legal team and various stakeholders within our company.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Drafting, reviewing, and modifying a variety of contracts and agreements, including non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, vendor contracts, and more, with careful attention to detail.
+ Facilitating the contracts review process by coordinating with relevant departments to ensure contracts align with company policies and regulations.
+ Supervising the entire lifecycle of each contract, from initiation through execution, renewal, and eventual termination.
+ Incorporating relevant changes or amendments into contracts as necessary and coordinating approval processes.
+ Conducting thorough risk assessments for all contracts and proposing mitigation strategies to reduce potential legal liability.
+ Ensuring all contracts are properly stored and maintained in the company's contracts management system, with compliance to contract filing and recordkeeping requirements.
+ Assisting in the resolution of any contractual disputes or issues that may arise.
+ Supporting litigation including document production and corresponding with outside counsel.
+ Supporting the legal department in any other tasks as needed, which might include legal research and due diligence.
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
+ A bachelor's degree, preference for specialization in Paralegal studies, or a related field.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of contract law and its application in corporate contexts.
+ Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar role with a focus on contract management.
+ Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
+ Exceptional attention to detail and ability to exercise discretion.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
