The Correspondent Lending In-Line Quality Assurance Analyst (CL ILQA Analyst) is responsible for the in-line review of loans in the CLD Pre-Purchase Review (PPR) process, which covers loans from file delivery through purchase decision. The candidate must possess a thorough working knowledge of residential lending programs and practices and demonstrate the ability to partner with each of the mortgage operations teams to ensure that loans are reviewed accurately and identified issues are remediated promptly. The individual will be expected to minimize risk by maintaining a high level of regulatory and procedural compliance. The successful candidate must also be highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial, organized, and passionate about growing a business in a team environment.What we are looking for:
Perform daily in-line quality assurance reviews on a selection of loans as they move through each stage of the PPR process - from file delivery through purchase decision - to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company credit and operational guidelines.Analyze data and produce scheduled ILQA reports on findings and metrics and assist with recommendations as to appropriate corrective action or gap-related solutions.Identify any suspected fraudulent activity occurring with any stakeholder and escalate issues to the appropriate management when necessary as well as escalate to management all unresolved issues, where appropriate.Meet with operations managers every month to review findings and promote issue remediation and quality improvement.Keep abreast of all company policies and procedures as well as federal and state regulatory changes and update the ILQA checklist to address emerging items for compliance.Ensure data integrity in the loan origination system by ensuring PPR activities are appropriately documented in the system of record.Work on special projects as needed.What you need to have:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience3+ years of residential mortgage lending experience with broad knowledge of lending regulations and credit/collateral analysis practicesKnowledge of investor/insurer guidelines, including FHLMC, FNMA, FHA, VA, and USDStrong written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to adapt well to a fast-paced and constantly changing business environmentMust be self-motivatedPC proficient at the intermediate levelComfortable with new technology systems and a paperless environmentDemonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environmentDemonstrated ability to provide good customer serviceCompensation: Hourly range for new hires is generally $54,668.00 - $67,532.00 for Westlake Village, CA.
