Within Advisory, PwC has a large team that focus on transformation in Government through Digital inclusion. The open position is for a candidate who desires to work with government clients and bring about a change in society. A successful candidate will be expected to work pro-actively and effectively on multiple client engagements over the period of time and take ownership of the entire project delivery he/she entrusted with.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive AI governance frameworks, including policies, standards and best practices.Ensure adherence to national and international AI standards and regulatory requirements.Perform risk assessments to identify and mitigate ethical, legal, and reputational risks associated with AI usage.Collaborate with internal teams (engineers, data scientists, product managers) to integrate AI governance principles into project development and deployment processes.Effectively communicate complex AI governance issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.Lead capacity-building initiatives focused on emerging technologies.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of AI policies and recommend necessary adjustments.

Mandatory skill sets:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in emerging technologies or AI, with at least 2 years focused on developing and implementing policy frameworks, particularly in technology and data protection.Strong understanding of emerging technology principles, strategies and trends.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a creative and strategic approach to challenges.Familiarity with laws and regulations related to emerging technologies in India.

Preferred skill sets:

Experience in public policy development, strategic planning and government scheme design.Prior experience in a consulting role working with government agencies.

10 to 15 years

Education qualification:

B.E. / B.Tech. / Master’s in information technology, computer science or a related field.
