Amergis HealthcareStaffing is looking for a Licensed Speech LanguagePathologist to create individualized care plans for speech pathologypatients in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team in the school setting.

 

Pay: $65-$75 per hour, based onexperience.

Responsibilities:

Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions to patients with speech, language, and/or hearing deficits as per physician orders. Assess patient needs; plan, evaluate, and modify care to achieve speech therapy goals. Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient. Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on the patient’s comprehensive speech therapy program. Advise, consult, and instruct multi-disciplinary team members on specific speech therapy modalities and interventions. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of practice. Graduate of a Speech Language Pathologist program accredited by the American Speech and Hearing Association, holding or eligible for a certificate of clinical competence granted by the American Speech and Hearing Association. Minimum of one year of experience in an acute care facility, outpatient setting, community health service, home health agency, or private practice as a Speech Language Pathologist within the past two years preferred. Current CPR certification.
