In-Process Inspector AOI Job Purpose: Monitor and inspect circuit board assemblies manufactured in the SMT department utilizing Automatic Optical (AOI) and/or X-ray (5DX) equipment to ensure product quality and reliability.   Nature of Duties: Monitor SMT product at defined station(s) utilizing AOI or 5DX Identify components including part numbers, values, package size/shape, placement and solderability Report findings to appropriate personnel, and record findings on applicable documentation Perform other responsibilities as needed Collaborate with SMT Machine Operator on concerns with components and technical support staff for immediate results Ability to sit, stand and bend for long periods of time Duties as assigned   Education and Experience Requirements: Experience utilizing AOI and/or 5DX equipment Working knowledge of IPC workmanship guidelines Excellent written and oral communication skills, and able to handle multiple tasks at once May do a lot of standing and walking and may lift up to 35 pounds. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination necessary.
