Job Description

The purpose of this position is to execute component project management for GH- BU in India (Projects and work packages).

Skills and Competency:

Advance knowledge about product development, manufacturing process & project management according to PEP process.
Advance knowledge of project management tools like APQP, MPP, 8D, PPAP, risk management etc.
Advance knowledge on budget/cost control & product costing.

Competent communication skills (written & spoken) & customer orientation

Role and Responsibility:

1. Project Management Process: Collect project data to facilitate customer project acquisition. Facilitate seamless execution of project post acquisition - from project development phase to series release phase. Manage manufacture relocation topics.

2. System and Process: Define project charter, align with necessary stakeholders for
timely closure of open topics including risk release document as per project requirement/progress systematically and participate/ lead audits with necessary
preparation.

3. Risk Management: Escalate in case of deviations/risk, coordinate, support & ensure execution of mitigation plan along with CFT, report cost impact and obtain management decision/approvals.

4.Budget Management: Track project efforts and budget and align with team leader
and obtain support/decision

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Automobile)
MBA (desirable)

1-3 years of experience in execution of project management
