Classification: Full-Time

\n

Shift: Various – must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate: The annual salary range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

\n

\n

In this role, you will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of In-Room Dining, reporting to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage and overseeing 30 Team Members. 

\n

The ideal candidate must be an exceptional leader with a passion for creating extraordinary experiences, a talent for training and developing others, and experienced in all aspects of restaurant operations (ex. financial performance, social media reputation, local market capture, and employee relations). At least 3-5 years of management experience in an in-room dining environment is required. Experience managing a unionized work environment is preferred.

What will I be doing?

\n

As an In Room Dining Manager, you will be responsible for managing in room dining operations to deliver an excellent Guest experience. An In Room Dining Manager will also be required to manage, train, and develop team members and optimize sales and control costs. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nProvide effective leadership to the In Room Dining team to ensure targets are met and exceeded both for the hotel and individual development\nEnsure compliance of brand standards\nEvaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement\nAware of trends and propose ideas to build the range and quality of Food and Beverage\nOptimize sales and contain costs, identifying any areas for action\nSet achievable budgets and other short- and long-term functional goals\nMaintain consistent communication with Training and Development department to ensure teams at all levels are trained and developed through the use of structured training calendars\nMaintain strong internal control environment and compliance to hotel/company policies and procedures\n\n

The following outlines the required qualifications for the Restaurant Assistant General Manager:

\n\nPrior Restaurant Management experience in In-Room Dining.\nSignificant experience managing a unionized or organized workforce.\nNo less than 3-5 years of substantial work experience in Restaurant Management.\n\n

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

\n\nPrior Restaurant Management experience in a Forbes 5-Star hotel or equivalent.\nCommitted to delivering high levels of customer service\nHigh level of IT proficiency\n
