Responsibilities:
The In-Seat Runner at Ball Arena is responsible for timely, efficient service of food and beverage orders to guests during Denver Nuggets games at Ball Arena.
Report for scheduled shift in a timely manner and is in complete uniform, with a neat and clean personal appearance. Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor in service of guests and peers. Fulfill the assigned opening and closing duties. Help restock inventory as needed. Assists in making sure the In-Seat Service Area is prepared for First Serve Verify order accuracy before leaving the Expo with the completed order, including condiments, plasticware, and napkins Deliver orders to the correct Section, Row, and Seats in a timely manner. Ends transactions in a positive way, such as “Thank you” or “Enjoy the game.” Work as a team within In-Seat group and other service departments within Ball Arena. Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area. Communicates with Supervisors and Legends Management. Comply with Company service standards and inventory control procedures. Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older prior to first day of employment. Must have scheduling availability for Denver Nuggets’ home games, including days, nights, and weekends. Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in English with guests and peers. Multilingual skills are a plus. Visual acuity to safely navigate the arena, back of house spaces, and verify Guest IDs in varying lighting conditions with or without reasonable accommodations. Physical ability to safely navigate stairs, risers, and/or uneven surfaces while carrying a service tray with or without the use of an assistive device and/or reasonable accommodation. Ability to work in environments with high noise levels and exposure to strobe or flashing lights with or without reasonable accommodations. Must be pleasant, courteous, and enjoy working with people. Must be able to work with others as a team. Must be able to remain calm under stressful situations. Must be able to smile, maintain positive body language, and consistently provide positive guest service. Must be able to accept and carry out responsibility for directions. Must be able to work at a fast pace. Must be able to occasionally lift and to transport up to 50 lbs. Must be comfortable with serving alcohol. Must be able to obtain and maintain TEAM Coalition Alcohol Certification.
