In-Shop Power Generation Technician
**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented **In-Shop Power Generation Technician** to join our Distribution Business in Chesapeake, VA. **$5,000 Sign on Bonus!!** In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: + Completing repair activities on generators or components + Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner + Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools + Maintain detailed records of service + Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies + Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products + Maintain own tools **RESPONSIBILITIES** In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: + Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. + High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. + Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products. (Advanced): + Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator systems. + Understanding switchgear schematics. + Able to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians/Mechanics. **QUALIFICATIONS** **This position will require a Med-Card and we will also be required to complete a DMV driving report.
