Linde Gas Equipment Inc. is seeking aIn Store Salesto join our team located in Houston, TX.The In Store Sales will be responsible for performing customer service activities within a retail store environment, selling product to walk-in customers, and proactively calling preferred and retail customers. The Counter Sales Representative's product focus will be on gases, rentals, and welding equipment and supplies.

Hourly Rate: $19.00-$27.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Performs customer service activities including receiving and entering telephone orders, answering questions, resolving challenges and tracing of order status or product shipmentsPerforms Counter Sales serving customers who come into the retail storePerforms warehouse duties and moving cylinders for customersWorks closely with and provides sales support to Outside Sales teamEvaluates and recommends appropriate product, equipment, and/or programsPromotes 'add-on' sales of gases and high margin hard goods accessoriesCounter Person- In Store Sales Representative’s conduct product demonstrationsMaintains customer records and files, including accurate account setup and pricingPerforms outbound calls to Retail and small 'B' customersSells product at minimum discount to achieve target marginsOccasional support of additional locationsOther duties as assigned

High School Diploma/GED required1 year(s) of Customer Service/Inside Sales/Counter Sales preferredExcellent customer service skillsNo DUI/DWI or other alcohol (driving) related convictions within the last ten (10) years
