Inbound Clinical Administrative Coordinator - National Remote

Growing together.** The hours during training will be 8:00am to 5:00pm CST, Monday - Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 9:30am – 6:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. We offer weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 8am to 5pm CST, Monday - Friday. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Manage administrative intake of members + Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and/or providers + Process incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census roles + Assist the clinical staff with setting up documents/triage cases for Clinical Coverage Review + Handle resolution/inquiries from members and/or providers You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. **Required Qualifications:** + High School Diploma / GED + Must be 18 years of age or above + 1+ years of taking 40+ calls in a high volume call center environment + 1+ years of experience in health insurance or medical billing + 1+ years of experience in health insurance or medical billing + Experience working with key performance indicators (average handle time, call volume, etc) + Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications + Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. **Preferred Qualifications:** + 1+ years of experience working with ICD - 9 / 10 and CPT codes + Professional experience in a clerical or administrative support related role + Experience working with Microsoft Word (creating, editing, saving documents) and Microsoft Excel (creating, editing, saving spreadsheets) + Knowledge of medical terminology **Telecommuting Requirements:** + Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy + Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) + Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy   **California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, Washington, D.C., Maryland Residents Only:** The hourly range for this role is $16.54 to $32.55 per hour.
