JOB SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of the Inbound Document Routing Specialist is processing new prescriptions for Respiratory Health devices, and reviewing those prescriptions for regulatory and compliance requirements. This role is also responsible for reviewing and routing incoming documents to the appropriate work queues, and troubleshooting issues with existing patient accounts. There is collaboration with other departments within Respiratory Health when necessary, and additional administrative duties may be assigned based on business need.

Your Role:

Managing the documents received in the inbound fax queueEntering new patient prescriptions into Total Information Management System (TIMS)Review and verification of the required elements for a valid prescription, per Standard Written Order (SWO) and payer guidelinesProcessing/routing other documentation as appropriateUpdate and maintain existing patient accountsTroubleshooting issues with existing patient accountsAdd and maintain healthcare professionals and healthcare locations within TIMSOther duties and projects as assigned

What You Bring:

Associates degree or higher preferred2+ years of industry experience, preferably in health insurance and/or durable medical equipmentKnowledge of Medicare and State Medicaid payers helpfulStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communicationStrong critical thinking and problem-solving abilityDetail orientated and ability to manage competing prioritiesAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentPossess the ability to manage time and prioritize critical prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft Office SoftwareExperience with Total Information Management System (TIMS)

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $41,600 - $62,400 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
