Position Summary:  

Supervising approximately 24 full time employees responsible for all inbound freight, scheduling and working all material promptly.

Responsible for the efficient direction of hourly associates in Outbound and support if needed for Inbound process functions (shipping, receiving, induction, put-away, and inventory)

Meeting or exceeding established productivity, labor and quality objectives

Ability to utilize data and reports to make fact-based data-driven decisions.

Ability to scrub LMS performance reports and coach team to higher performance

Must demonstrate exceptional attendance due to the weekend nature of this position

Work Schedule: Supervisor Monthly Rotational Shifts

One Month Working: Monday thru Friday

Monday – 3:00am – Finish

Tuesday-Friday – 5:00am – Finish

Most days are 10 hours or less.

Rotate Next Month Working: Saturday thru Tuesday (4 - 10 hour days)

5:00am - 3:45pm

Minimum Requirements 

3+ years of subject matter experience including exhibiting leadership 

 

Critical Skills:  

3 years functional experience working in warehouse distribution operations

Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and inventory function

Supervisory or Lead experience within a warehouse distributrion setting strongly preferred  

Advanced technology usage: Warehouse management system, Automatic storage and retrieval Systems, Pick to Light 

Self driven. Proven succesful in managing competing priorities  

PC use – MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint; Smartsheet 

Professionalism - reacts well under pressure; keeps emotions under control; team player  

Excellent verbal and written communication

E1/RF web or similar system – follow transactions, system usage knowledge 

Transfers, adjustments, slotting, location profiles, trigger points

Professionalism - reacts well under pressure; keeps emotions under control; team player  

Excellent verbal and written communication

Professional employee engagement: understand needs, investigate issues and provide appropriate timely responses

 

Additional Knowledge & Skills:

Skilled in interviewing, coaching, evaluation, discipline and record keeping 

Experience with federal laws and regulations a plus 

WMS & Automated Storage & Retrieval experience preferred 

Physical Requirements:

Walking and standing within a high energy warehouse distribution setting

May be required to work various shifts, including days and weekends

Some overtime required especially at the first of the month due to high PHD business

Education:

HS Diploma or Equivalent

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$58,300 - $97,100
