Job Description: 

 

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Incentive Plan Analyst to calculate incentive award payments to sales personnel and manufacturer reps based on incentive plan rules and guidelines. Job description is as follows:  

Performs activities needed for the development, implementation, communication and administration of incentive programs, plans and policies.  

Calculates and validates incentive payments. 

Reviews payment reports for accuracy and completeness. Able to verify and follow through, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments as outlined in the plan. Resolves reconciliation issues. Typically maintains or audits information needed to track revenue.  

Communicate incentive payments to Micron Sales and Manufacturer Reps. 

May analyze sales performance results, prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for management.  

Typically uses Power BI SQL model/queries, Power BI dashboards/reports, Excel, reporting tools, and/or ERP systems to gather data for payment calculation or analysis.  

May contribute to the development or improvement of systems to effectively track or capture data.  

May perform analysis or modeling of alternative incentive plan designs.  

Document business processes 

 

Qualifications / Requirements 

Experience in managing incentive plans for Sales is a plus 

5+ years of experience in finance, business analysis, business operations or similar role. 

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., Finance, Business, etc.). 

Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel and/or Power BI to manipulate and summarize large volumes of data using formulas, pivot tables, power pivots. 

Knowledge of Power BI and SQL queries – ability to connect to servers, run jobs, extract and upload data. 

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. 

Strong critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. 

Excellent communication and internal personal skills. 

Strong organization and project management skills.

The role also does not carry the authority to make definitive decisions regarding contracts, be it their conclusion or termination. Furthermore, the role is not designed to involve participation in pricing negotiations or the authorization of contracts. These activities fall beyond the permissible duties of the position.
