The role
As an Incident Responder, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be required to respond safely and appropriately to Medical, Fire or Safety Incidents. You will also be responsible for maintaining the site security and manning levels.

 

Day-to-day, you will be conducting regular patrols both internally and externally in order to identify and report any safety hazards. You will also control access to and from the site whilst performing authorised searches including vehicles. 

 

Control access to and from site including search pedestrians - temporary pass-holders and permanent pass-holder vehicles CCTV and security systems - Assessment of risks to the site through the use of CCTV. Monitor alarm systems. Receive and process emergency calls - Respond to SLA for emergency calls Support emergency response and deploy resources. Maintain records where appropriate and necessary and complete all required documentation. Ensure secure storage of documents.

 

This role is full time working 42 hours per week and is based on site at Capenhurst. The role will allow flexibility for day and night shifts.

 

Essential experience of the Incident Responder

Previous experience in one of the following sectors: Military, Police Force, Fire Service, Security Good standard of health & fitness Flexibility to adapt to normal and emergency shift working patterns Good report writing skills Intelligence Material Handling

 

Qualifications for the Incident Responder

Driving licence Security Industry Authority Accredited (SIA) – Can be provided by Babcock HGV licence    

 

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
