Key Responsibilities: + Supervise and mentor a team of income maintenance case workers. + Ensure accurate and timely processing of applications for public assistance programs. + Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing training and support. + Monitor case management activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. + Handle complex cases and provide guidance on difficult issues. + Collaborate with other departments and external agencies to coordinate services. + Prepare and maintain detailed reports and records. + Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting income maintenance programs. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field. + Minimum of 2 years of experience in income maintenance or a related area. + Proven leadership and supervisory skills. + Strong knowledge of public assistance programs and regulations. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
