Rate of Pay: $80,000.00

Duties: Prepare proforma federal income returns by using tax software. Prepare and review state corporate income tax returns, state extensions and quarterly payment calculations. Prepare tax return workpaper including book-to-tax adjustments and utilization of tax attributes. Prepare monthly and annual income tax provisions and Provision to Return analysis. Prepare international tax forms, such as Form 5471 and Form 8858 by using tax software. Collect and compile R&D data used for calculation of Research and Experimentation (“R&D”) tax credit. Assist in responding to internal and external requests from Tax Compliance team, Tax Provision team, Finance, auditor and tax authorities. Gather financial data from applications for compliance and provision purpose. Assist on tax integration of newly acquired entities. Maintain and resolve tax notices by communicating with various state agencies.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field and 12 months of experience in job offered, or in a Tax Analyst related occupation. Must have 1 year of experience with the following skills: Federal/State taxes and tax theories pertaining to the software and hardware industry; Accounting and tax software to prepare tax returns, account reconciliations as well as other required components of the tax compliance process; GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles); Working with Corptax Software, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Adobe), and SAP.
