Responsibilities

The Incoming Inspector will assure conformance to specifications for all purchased parts at Hamilton Company.

Inspect incoming purchased parts to purchase order and blueprint specifications.                                Perform first article inspections from vendors or on in-house manufactured parts as needed.

Collaborate with internal engineering staff to troubleshoot and resolve problems related to part inspection results. 

Interface with vendors to explain inspection results and assist in problem resolution.Perform vendor source inspections as required.                                                                              Qualifications Expert Knowledge of dimensional inspection.             Ability to read blueprints. Basic knowledge of quality control processes and procedures.Excellent communications skills.Position requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Education/Experience High School diploma or equivalent required.Experience with printed circuit board assembly inspection and IPC certification strongly preferred.
