What you will do

Manage a high performing team of 10-12 people and own the accountability of complete E2E deliveryDrive design, development, implementation and documentationShould be good in stakeholder and program managementEstablish best engineering practices and operation excellence backed up with product, engineering and scrum metricsInteract with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products.Work closely with the Architects and cross functional teams and follow established practices for the delivery of solutions meeting QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery) within the established architectural guidelines.Work with senior leadership to chart out the future roadmap of the productsParticipate in hiring and build teams enabling them to be high performing agile teams.Participate organizational events like hackathon’s/Demo days etc...Interact closely for requirements with Business owners and technical teams both within India and across the globe.Mentoring and coaching team and help them grow.

What you will bring

BE / B. Tech degree in Computer Science with minimum 10+ years’ experience and atleast 2+ years in people management.Have strong experience in building and managing a high performing teamHave led a team of 10-12 people and owned the accountability of complete E2E deliveryShould be good in stakeholder and program managementHave worked on good product organizationExtensive experience building services using these technologies (Microservices/Restful/SOAP web services)In depth knowledge in full stack technologies like Java,Spring/Springboot, React JS/Angular Js/Node.js, Javascript, Type script, CSS.Strong experience in running the cloud distributed system in production at least for 2-3 yearsExperience in creating performing, highly scalable and distributed middle-tier frameworks, preferably using event-driven architecture in Cloud like AzureObject Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.Experience on large-scale end-to-end implementationsKnowledge on unit testing frameworks (Junit/Spock/Jest etc) and code quality control platforms like SonarExperience in CI/CD development environments/tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOpsDemonstrated end-to-end ownership for development and design of least one cloud-based project.Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologiesPrior Strong hands-on development skills to prototype technical solutions.Well versed in understanding and handling Non-Functional requirements (NFR’s)Excellent in driving Engineering excellence – code quality, performance tuning, operational excellence etc.Strong desire to drive change, and ability to adapt to change quickly. Willing to learn new and emerging technologies.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - including negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills; ability to influence and persuade, without direct control.Knowledge on cloud platforms like Microsoft AzurePractitioner of Agile (Scrum) methodology

Minimum Qualifications:Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area. Option 2: 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
2 years’ supervisory experience.
