Design Compliance Specialist, your role will be to ensure that all creative processes, designed content, and provided deliverables comply with Walmart creative standards, regulations, and internal policies. You will play a vital role in upholding design integrity, brand consistency, and adherence to industry best practices across our Creative Certification Program (CCP) in alignment with Lightbox Creative. Your expertise in creative compliance will contribute to maintaining quality and regulatory conformity across all graphic design-related projects and initiatives..
What you'll do –
• Interpret and communicate design-related requirements to all CCP projects and internally-owned work, ensuring alignment with advertising creative compliance expectations.
• Execute multiple creative concepts and design solutions under the guidance of Art Directors to translate business needs into innovative solutions
• Support cross-functional teams to ensure design integrity and production excellence.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Walmart Connect creative compliance guidelines and requirements.
• Monitor design processes, workflows, and deliverables to ensure compliance with applicable guidelines, campaigns, and standards.
• Stay updated and informed on industry design standards, creative best practices, and relevant trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including sales, design, marketing, and stakeholders) to ensure proper status and reporting of design activates and accountability.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing design compliance practices and processes.
What you'll bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of graphic design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and industry guidelines related to graphic design compliance (e.g., copyright, trademarks, accessibility standards).
• Experience in compliance monitoring, auditing, or quality assurance within the graphic design of regulated industry.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, or equivalent tools. Motion design skills are an added advantage.
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex design compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Proficient in using project management tools and documentation systems such as Workfront, Jira, and Confluence.
• Solid organizational skills, detail oriented. Capable of working on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
