Team and Position Summary:
At IDC We work on Front end and Backend Technologies hosted on in-premises private cloud, Public Cloud Hosted and Applications across rWeb, Android and IOS for Walmart US market. We are responsible for architecture, design and delivery of programs within the areas we own.This eco system uses Core java Technologies, Azure Cloud Technologies, React.JS, React Native, Node.JS, Java and powering Complex transactional and Big Data Systems
Position Responsibilities:
• Broad knowledge of Java, Android, design patterns and programming best practices.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project planning/execution skills including estimating and scheduling.
• Adhere to coding best practices, responsible for quality of code, documentation, testing, monitoring and delivery of features.
• Able to communicate with stake holders and drive features development with minimal guidance from Leads and Managers.
Position Requirements:
• B.Tech. / B.E. / M.Tech. / M.S. in Computer Science
• 2-6 years of strong design/development experience overall, with 4+ years of web development experience
• Expert in core Javascript latest versions, React JS, Next.js, GraphQL
• Experience with test frameworks like Jest, Testcafe
• Familiarity working with REST APIs for deep integrations with both platforms i.e. general best practices, shortcomings, trade-offs, etc.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Deep knowledge of design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Knowledge in understanding the server side rendering, web security and understanding of accessibility
• Experience in Docker and Kubernetes will be a plus
• Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal skills.
