About Team and Position Summary:

The Software Engineer III will be a part of a dynamic and innovative Internation SRE Team responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the company's cloud infrastructure. This role requires a highly experienced individual with a deep understanding of cloud and SRE processes, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Designing, constructing, installing, testing, and maintaining highly scalable International E-comm systems.

2. Ensuring systems meet business requirements and industry practices.

3. Integrating up-and-coming software engineering technologies into existing system.

4. Collaborating with App teams and Infra architects on several projects.

5. Conducting complex system analysis and report results.

6. Working on improving system reliability, efficiency, and quality.

7. Developing and implementing SRE standards and processes when needed.

8. Monitoring and maintaining cloud infrastructure.

9. Identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes.

10. Working with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, App and Design teams to assist with Infra-related technical issues and support their infrastructure needs.

What you'll bring:

1.  As a Software Engineer III, you should bring 3+ years of experience in cloud/Infra engineering.

2. You should have a strong background in SQL, Python, Java, or other programming languages.

3. Knowledge of cloud architecture, infrastructure, and distributed computing.

4. You should be able to design, build, and manage relational and non-relational databases.

5. You'll need a strong problem-solving ability to overcome the challenges associated with dealing with complex data.

6. Strong working experience with containers and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Service Mesh like Istio, etc

7. Experience with Monitoring solutions like Prometheus, Products like ELK/Splunk etc.

8. Experience with API standards (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)

9. Strong Experience with networking concepts and protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, Telnet, SSH, Firewall, VPN, Routing and Load Balancing)

10. You should have excellent communication skills to collaborate with different teams and explain technical concepts in a clear and understandable way.
