TRIGO needs an experienced 1099 Consultants to join our network to be considered for upcoming project-based assignment with flexibility to travel. Our ideal candidate would be someone with comprehensive automotive experience in Quality, Supplier Development, Operations and\/or Engineering and Management in Automotive, Heavy Transportation, Aerospace or Defense industries. The Senior Quality Consultant Reports to\n

Example Consultant Tasks:\n\nReview QMS system to ensure it meets the IATF 16949:2016 or VDA 6.3 standard requirements\nDocument Customer performance metrics and complaint history\nPerform a process or QMS audit at Supplier location to determine areas of discrepancy in systems or processes \nAssist Supplier team to develop systemic action plans for all items found\nAssist in implementing action plans where appropriate\nReport out to Supplier and mandating Customer\nVerify\/determine effectiveness of all actions taken\nPrepare reports as needed\nServe as TRIGO's primary contact with the Supplier\nPerform other activities related to the scope of work agreed upon with the Customer\n\n

Experience\/Skills Preferred\n\nCertification as a IATF 16949 or VDA 6.3 auditor\nExperience in APQP, PPAP, and Quality Core Tools\nExcellent project management and organizational skills \nHighly proficient with Microsoft Office\nProven track record of creating error-free and detailed documentation \nAbility to multi-task and change responsibilities as needed\nProven track record for developing Customer relationships \nContinuous availability on site\nExcellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to travel within the country\nSix Sigma certification considered a plus\n20+ years manufacturing experience\nMinimum 10 years Quality experience (Automotive)\n\n

Education\n\nBachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, but requisite experience will be considered\nMaster's degree a plus\n\n
