ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY As a potential Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a talented team of professionals providing Project Oversight. You will join a core team tasked with providing IV&V reports and document reviews for state government IT projects. This role will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating software development and system modernization activities in a state-wide implementation effort. Join us and be part of our mission to make a difference! Travel Expectations: Willingness to travel up to 50% in support of client engagements/projects is required. SOME RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: + Provide project support and oversight of State government software development efforts. + Participate on or lead a team in review and assessment of the methodologies, processes, plans, tasks, work products, and deliverables produced by a system integration vendor or client implementation team and provide recommendations for improving quality and maximizing business value realization + Prepare and deliver reports and presentations related to the project and findings to client leadership. + Support the client management and stakeholders to plan for and address risks and issues as they occur, to ensure that the project remains on schedule and within budget + Support and contribute to written weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc status or assessment reports. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: + Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related area. A minimum of eight (8) years of related or similar experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. + Minimum five (5) years of experience in a large and complex software development environment such as software transformations, modernizations, migrations, and integrations. + Deep knowledge of various SDLC methodologies, particularly Agile, and related processes/artifacts Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non- technical audiences + Familiar with identifying and applying Information Technologies industry standards and best practices. + Strong written and verbal communication including tactful communications with difficult messages + Ability to review compliance language and perform gap analysis + Ability to work and meet deadlines independently as well as part of the team. + Candidates must be U.S. Citizens. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: + Based out of or near Columbus, Ohio + Four (4) or more years of experience providing IV&V, Quality Assurance, or consulting services to State Government clients + Three (3) or more years of experience with data conversion and data cleansing related to software transformations + Three (3) or more years of experience with testing processes, including unit, component, integration, system, and UAT, and tools. + Three (3) or more years of experience providing technical advisory services to state clients and their system integration vendors for design/configuration and implementation of enterprise-wide solutions (e.g., ERP, tax and revenue, workers’ compensation, unemployment insurance, licensing/permitting, and/or IT service management systems) We believe in fostering a positive, inclusive culture that values diversity, teamwork, and personal growth. Compensation / Salary Range: Greentree adheres to federal, state, and local regulations. This is a Full-Time, Salary, Exempt position. The salary range is what we reasonably expect to pay but is contingent and subject to a variety of factors, including but not limited to years of experience, education, certification(s), training, specialized skills, responsibilities, etc. Bonuses: Greentree has an employee referral bonus, as well as employee bonuses based on employee contributions and Greentree’s yearly performance.
