Indirect Channel Sales Manager: Sales and Service

Job Title: Channel Sales Manager NW Light Division

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic experienced Channel Sales Manager to strategically lead and operationally manage our indirect sales channel through distributors network across multiple countries in Africa. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in managing both sales, and service business direct and indirect; in addition to corporate accounts contracts, with a proven track record of driving growth and achieving sales targets. French Language is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, partners, and corporate accounts. Set and monitor business growth strategy and performance KPIs for local distributors Provide guidance and support to ensure they achieve their objectives. Facilitate trainings and support to partners to enhance their sales capabilities and performance. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within the target markets. Conduct regular business reviews with distributors and corporate accounts to assess performance, identify growth opportunities, and address any issues or challenges. ensuring current contracts execution compliance and alignment with company policies and objectives. Manage any conflicts or disputes that may arise between distributors or with end customers, ensuring a swift and satisfactory resolution. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as the competitive landscape in each market. Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer satisfaction. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth. In parallel, provide feedback and market intelligence to the wider organization, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. At least 10-13 years of experience in managing and growing direct and indirect business, distributors, and sales and service contracts across different countries and corporate accounts in Africa. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Willingness to travel as required to support business growth in target countries.
