Project Manager for the Indirect Procurement organization. Provide leadership to cross-functional team members while balancing resources and addressing issues and barriers to drive the implementation of key enterprise projects. The role involves working with business partners to develop and execute business cases, project plans, and change management communication plans in support of key initiatives.

Where is the work: 

 Hybrid:  

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week out of Davidson NC.

What you will do:    

• Lead enterprise Indirect Procurement projects. Accountable for successful completion of Procurement
project goals as assigned.  Support of category strategy development projects.
• Work cross-functionally to align resources to support the execution of projects to maximize impact on Trane Technologies.
• Accountable for understanding and representing Procurement projects, including cost and benefits, across all corporate functions and SBUs.
• Responsible for aligning SBU and functional resources to maximize Procurement benefits for Trane
Technologies.
• Accountable for the team’s utilization of standard work including project tracking, documentation, and reporting.
• Actively engage with team members to eliminate roadblocks and escalate issues appropriately.
• Accountable for documenting and communicating all significant project changes to Procurement and
business partner leadership teams.
• Support prioritization of Procurement projects including business case development.
• Responsible for the development and execution of change management plans.
• Accountable for engaging commodity teams to support project ideas, deliverables, and results.
• Support Procurement participation in Value Steam Analysis including leading RIE’s and Projects as
assigned.  This will include a focus on identifying root causes and problem-solving solutions.
• Travel – Estimated at 10%

What you will bring:  

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience
• Global project management experience a plus
• PMP Certified or in the process of certification
• 3+ years’ sourcing and integrated supply chain experience a plus
• Analytics experience including Strong BI knowledge
• Microsoft Project Expertise
• Must be a strategic thinker and have demonstrated experience driving initiatives including developing and implementing strategic plans
• Experience with challenges of launching new products and/or business processes
• Strong technical problem-solving skills
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact with various stakeholders and positively influence others throughout the organization to achieve project goals
• Must be a proactive change agent and possess leadership skills to build and maintain a team-oriented environment while leveraging lean methodologies
• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple priorities at once

 

Compensation:    

Base Pay Range: $78,000- $100,000 Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan.
