As an Indirect Regional Supplier manager, you will be responsible for developing a category strategy for managed categories, validating strategies with Global and Regional Category Managers/s and the respective internal partners and stakeholders. You will be conducting strategic sourcing initiatives, plan and execute negotiations using supplier and industry analysis, benchmark and cost management. Through management of the category strategy, you will also be building trusted partnerships with internal stakeholders, driving best-in-class, cost, supply and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

Category Management & Strategic Sourcing

Recommend resource levels across procurement sourcing categories, projects and functions.Implement processes to monitor stakeholder satisfaction with key suppliers.Recommend targets to maximize value such as high revenue, spend reduction, purchasing efficiency, customer services and supplier management.Participate in supplier segmentation and strategic goal-setting.Develop category strategies for managed categories and validate strategies with Global and Regional Category Managers/s and internal partners.

Cost Management & Analysis

Identify and evaluate category-specific savings/revenue leversDrive category savings/revenue and scorecard metric targetsProvide market intelligence and category price trends to relevant internal stakeholdersUtilize should-cost models for assigned categories that are benchmarked and relevant to the global marketplace

Negotiation

Lead or participate in negotiations for contract extensions and renewals, renegotiation of prices, transfers, etcLead sourcing events/RFQ process into bundled negotiationIncorporate savings targets and contract requirements into negotiationsDevelop a contract strategy for suppliers in assigned categories and create, negotiate, monitor and enforce contracted terms and conditionsConduct strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiations, and cost management using supplier and industry analysis.

Business Partnering

Collaborate with Stakeholders to Deliver Strategic SolutionsDevelop and maintain expertise in the assigned spend categories through relationships with key stakeholdersDrive customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing ProcurementDevelop and maintain collaborative partnerships to enhance cost-effectiveness, supply chain efficiency, and resilience.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in Indirect ProcurementA relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Proven experience in category management and strategic sourcing.Strong negotiating and analytical skills.

Strong communication skills and ability to effectively manage relationships with various individuals involved.
