Job Title: Indirect Sourcing Specialist
Job Description
Aston Carter is searching for an indirect sourcing specialist for a large manufacturing client. The successful candidate will support category strategy and maximize value by managing the end-to-end requisitioning process according to established purchasing policies and spending thresholds. The role involves reviewing low-to-medium spend and recommending opportunities to leverage relationships with strategic suppliers to the Strategic Sourcing Leader. The specialist will also conduct sourcing events for mid-low Tail Spend Opportunities, evaluate supplier bids, and provide award recommendations. Additional responsibilities include executing one-off buys and competitive bid events, conducting first-level contract discussions, monitoring contract and pricing compliance, and maintaining procurement records.

Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and some days remote.
Work Environment
Hybrid in Pittsburgh. First shift. Potential travel to Cumberland, MD.
