Job Description

As the Indirect Tax - Accountant, you will be responsible for monthly and annual GST compliances, communicating and liaising with external consultants for GST compliances. You will also be assisting in preparing replies of notices to tax authorities

Key responsibilities

GST Compliances

Responsible for extracting data required for compliances, verifying the data with books of accounts and sharing the same with tax consultantsResponsible for reviewing returns finalized by tax consultants

Reply to notices

Collating and preparing information required to be submitted to tax authorities. You will be liaising with external consultants and assisting in preparing replies to notices

Projects

Keep a track of the changes happening in GST and assessing the impact on the CompanyProviding GST related inputs in the new projects implemented in the Company

Qualifications

To be successful in the role of Indirect Tax - Accountant, you should have strong commercial focus and are insight and data driven, with proven ability to drive results and work towards goals. You should have a broad ecommerce knowledge and commercial experience that understands the total picture from customer demands on our offers.

What you need to succeed:

Chartered Accountant with 4-5 years of experience in field of Indirect taxes is requiredRelevant experience from previous roles in the GST compliancesExperienced in MS Teams, SharePoint, ExcelStrong analytical abilityGreat communication and team collaboration skills

Additional Information

This is a full-time position, reporting to the Head of Finance & Accounting for India.

This position is based at the Support Office in Delhi, India.
