Indoor Delivery Officer
Commitment required to work for 6 months 20 hours per weekShifts are 4 hours per day Mon - Fri: 1pm - 5pmPerson with forklift ticket and experience preferred for this position


Help us deliver like never before 

As our Mail and Parcel Sorter, you’ll be working at the Bundaberg Delivery Centre where you’ll be responsible for manually sorting mail in preparation for delivery the next day. You’ll play a key role in supporting our Posties, who provide a vital service to our local community every single day. You might not be working from home, but you’ll be working together with a friendly team of like-minded people, and your community relies on you, and it doesn’t get better than that! 


You’ll be 

Working efficiently individually or in a team to manually sort mail into logical street, number and into an appropriate round Lifting and handling heavy parcels and bags of mail regularlyDoing frequent manual handling, sorting, and scanning of productRequired to use manual pallet jacks and stackers to receive and despatch large volume of mail Operating a forklift when necessary as per business requirements *


About you 

You are flexible with working additional hours if required You have experience in a manual handling warehouse environmentYou have a great memory, excellent attention to detail and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly Experience operating manual pallet jacks or stackers is advantageous but not mandatory*Forklift ticket* and experience is advantageous to be successful for this position but not mandatory
