Title: Industrial Administrative Assistant
Location: Angleton, TX

Salary: $55,000+
Schedule: 9/80 schedule available

Focus: The Industrial Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Research and Development (R&D) team at Olin's Angleton, TX site as well as supporting a variety of technical responsibilities.

Industrial Administrative Assistant Essential Job Functions:

Provide administrative support for Angleton site including traditional office management, procurement, purchase order management, meeting support, and timekeeping. Act as the subject matter expert for Management of Change, Action Management, and Sample Management tools.  Provide training, coaching, and support as needed.  Interface with IT for tracking and improvements. Manage Epoxy R&D documents in multiple systems for controlled documents, lab work instructions, and research reports. Manage R&D training through multiple tools.  Assure roles are aligned, and training requirements are met. Quality Focal Point - ownership and maintenance of quality policies, implementation of annual management system review, leadership in preparation and support for quality audits. Environmental/Waste Focal point - assist team with lab waste management, including waste stream characterization, and managing waste inventory. Track financial contributions for the R&D team, including global spend, North America productivity projects, and global innovation value delivery. Industrial Administrative Assistant Minimum Requirements: Associate's Degree*; Business Administration or related discipline preferred. Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience. Demonstrated ability to drive projects as well as to learn complex tools and processes. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Prior experience with SAP preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills, multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills. Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred.
