We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Industrial Sales Associate to join our team. This role will focus on prospecting, business development (BD), and lead nurturing to drive sales growth in industrial markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and supporting the sales team to achieve both short- and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and qualify new business opportunities in industrial sectors such as manufacturing, environmental monitoring, or energy. Conduct market research to pinpoint key decision-makers and trends. Customer Engagement: Initiate conversations with prospects through cold calls, emails, and networking. Understand customer needs and recommend solutions that align with their operational goals. Sales Development: Schedule and conduct introductory meetings or product demonstrations, ensuring smooth handoff to Account Executives. Maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities using CRM tools like HubSpot and Salesforce. Collaboration and Strategy: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to execute campaigns and develop territory plans. Provide feedback on market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer challenges. Reporting and Metrics: Meet or exceed monthly targets for leads generated, meetings scheduled, and qualified opportunities. Regularly update CRM with activity logs, opportunities, and forecasts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: 1–3 years in inside sales, BDR or similar role in industrial, technical, or B2B sales. Familiarity with industries like manufacturing, environmental monitoring, or energy is preferred. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of industrial technologies, processes, or systems (e.g., VOC / EtO monitoring, manufacturing systems, or automation). Ability to quickly learn and articulate technical concepts. Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a team player. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Tools and Tech: Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce). Familiarity with email automation platforms and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in industrial sales or a technical role with exposure to B2B sales. Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., EPA, OSHA) and how they impact industrial operations. Exposure to emerging technologies such as IoT, environmental monitoring systems, or manufacturing analytics.
