Summary Job title: Industrial Automation Service Technician Job ID: 202498190002 Department: AIMM AR Location: TX-Irving Description Summary: - Provide field service support for industrial equipment and systems - Troubleshoot and repair PLC configuration issues on-site - Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues on-site - Install, configure, and test new equipment and systems - Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance - Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide technical assistance - Business development, promote sales of services portfolio - Document all service activities, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades - Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment Reports to: AIMM Services BDM Minimum Qualifications: - HS Diploma or equivalent - Associates degree or Trade Certification - OR - - previous experience in industrial maintenance or a related field - Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components - Familiarity with logic controllers, distributed control systems, and high voltage equipment - Rockwell/AB experience a plus (RSLogix 500/5000,Studio 5000,View Studio,Motion) - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think logically - Customer service-oriented with good communication skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred Qualifications: Rockwell Certifications (PLC's, Drives, Software, etc.) Working Conditions: This role provides, on site at customer locations, technical support and service within the state of Arkansas. Monday through Friday, normally within 8-5 working hours. Main office locations include: Springdale, Ft. Smith, Russellville, Conway, Little Rock Supervisory Responsibilities: No Essential Job Functions: • Perform Simple Variable Frequency Drive Start-Ups. • Complete on-site Asset, Network, and Safety assessments at client sites. • Collect data for studies such as: Arc Flash, Lock Out/Tag Out, and IR studies. • Perform other functionally related duties as assigned and based upon skill level. • Follow scope of work to complete documented service offerings at client sites. • Follow or exceed client on-site safety and work requirements. • Present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization to gain buy-in around both the concepts and the value of acting on design changes. • Document work activities in an appropriate and professional report format. • Articulate the value of service offerings to clients. • Support clients in understanding their current state in order to improve their processes, mitigate their risk, or modernize their facilities. • Successfully and safely complete projects on time and in scope while providing thorough and clear documentation before, during, and after the service. • Interact professionally with all internal and external clients.
