Job Description

Onin Staffing is looking for an Industrial Controller to join a manufacturing company in the Bessemer area.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure adherence to safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.Direct and manage all Finance and Accounting functions.Implement and monitor financial controls.Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies.Maintain effective internal controls.Ensure compliance with corporate procedures, reporting requirements, and local statutory/legal regulations.Conduct financial planning and analysis.Oversee an effective and timely inventory management program.


Work Experience

Requirements:

Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, flexibility, and an open-minded approach.Minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Proactive self-starter with the ability to collaborate closely with production, sales/quoting, materials, and customer service teams.Skilled in quickly identifying and resolving issues.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage a high volume of information and deliver accurate results within tight deadlines.Proficiency in manufacturing cost accounting.Supervisory experience in accounting, accounts payable, and cost accounting.Capability to meet the physical requirements specific to the role.
