Job Title: Industrial Designer
Job Description

The candidate will primarily work within Solidworks to create 3D models of a variety of product lines, most commonly car air fresheners. They will use Keyshot to render CAD files and work with multiple Adobe platforms, including Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. The candidate will generate detail sheets for the design and create step files for production. Creativity is essential as the candidate may create conceptual designs before modeling in CAD. Participation in review meetings with engineering and R&D via MS Teams is also required. This role is fully remote and can be based anywhere in the U.S.

ResponsibilitiesCreate 3D models of various product lines, primarily car air fresheners, using Solidworks.Render CAD files using Keyshot.Work with Adobe platforms including Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.Generate detail sheets for designs.Create step files for production.Develop conceptual designs before modeling in CAD.Participate in review meetings with engineering and R&D via MS Teams.Essential SkillsExperience in Solidworks design.Experience with one of the following Adobe platforms: Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.Minimum of 2 years of 3D modeling experience from schooling, internships, or work.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Keyshot to render CAD.Associates or Bachelor's degree in industrial design, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.Work Environment

This role is fully remote and can be based anywhere in the U.S. The candidate will participate in review meetings with engineering and R&D teams via MS Teams. The role involves using various software, including Solidworks, Keyshot, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
