Direct Hire position$38.51 to $40.73 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:00pm)Maintain equipment operation by completing inspections, preventive maintenance requirements, correcting deficiencies, keeping records, diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.Determine equipment condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying worn and damaged parts and general troubleshooting.Maintain yard/field equipment (forklifts, cranes, service trucks, welders, trailers, generators)Completing preventive maintenance schedules, installing components, parts upgrades, correcting deficiencies, maintaining appearance and keeping records of time by task.Diagnose and repair any issues found during initial testing.-Change filters and perform standard service Work with Shop Manager on project progress, & estimatesAssist in preparing generators for shipment as neededIndustrial Diesel Engine Mechanic Qualifications:
Industrial diesel engine mechanic with at least 5 years of experience.In-depth understanding of diesel engine technology is required. Experience working with large industrial diesel engines and related equipment is required.Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience working with numerous name brands and industrial engines like Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, etc.Proficient with estimating time required to complete tasksAbility to diagnose and repair mechanical issues on large commercial and industrial diesel enginesApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
