**Industrial Electrical Technician** **Job Description** Execute the scheduled and day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Department to ensure the plant meets department and overall plant goals of safety and quality. Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain various automated production equipment in a modern and complex food production facility. Perform specific duties in the following areas: mixing, oven, packaging, scaling, quality control, and sanitation. All work is to be performed in a manner that complies with all federal, state, local, SQF 2000, and company rules and regulations with optimum regard for Plant Safety. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant machinery and equipment such as mixers, conveyors, compressors, motors, and pumps. + Troubleshoot, repair, or replace electrical control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, motor starters, etc. as needed. + Troubleshoot, repair, or replace hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical power components. + Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment by utilizing PLCs and other multiple automated control systems. Be able to use RS Logix and have the ability to read ladder logic. + Perform work order repairs, inspections, and adjustments as well as preventative and predictive maintenance tasks. + Work closely with production and refrigeration personnel to effectively resolve and eliminate plant and process problems.
