Job Description:

Location: Griffin, Georgia

CoWorx Staffing Services has several Direct Hire – Industrial Electrician opportunities for 1st shift, located in Griffin/Barnesville, GA! This is an opportunity to join an evolving and growing dynamic enterprise. As the Industrial Electrician, you will perform fundamental electrical installs for industrial packaging daily. You will also perform all duties related to industrial packaging for backup power.

Responsibilities:

· Working knowledge of basic electrical installation
· Wiring AC and DC lights, 3-way switches, GFCI receptacles, Load Center
· Bending and sizing of conduit, sizing of wire
· Interpret current NEC codes.
· Interpret shop drawings.
· Must have commercial or industrial experience.
· Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.

To be successful in this position you should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. Adhere and adapt to changing temperatures in the work environment. Possess experience in the industrial or commercial field. The ability to work safely alone and around others is essential to this position as well.

Desired Background/Skills:

· Must have 3 years minimum experience as a commercial industrial electrical apprentice/journeyman.
· Appropriate PPE required and mandated as per company policies.
· Company required Safety Training and Annual recertification required.
· Relevant certifications from a Technical College preferred.
· School or class time is required.

Other Information:

Compensation: $27.00 to $38.00 an hour, based on experience.

Tool Allowance

Work Hours: 1st Shift -6:00 am to 2:00 pm, some overtime may be required
