**Industrial Electrician - 1st Shift**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team on the 1st shift, working Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm, with some Saturday mornings based on customer demands. This role involves performing electrical work, including reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
+ Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
+ Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
+ Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.
+ Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
+ Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices.
+ Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
+ Install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting AC/DC circuits and PLCs with at least 5 years of experience.
+ Ability to troubleshoot VFD (Variable Frequency Drive).
+ Ability to find the root cause of issues and think logically about solutions.
+ Capability to read blueprints and schematics and use an array of tools and diagnostic devices to service and install electrical parts.
+ Knowledge of DC motors, old/new relay logic (PLC and relay).
+ Must have own tools and meter.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with PLC, Servo, RLL, AC Inverter, and DC motor systems.
+ Must be able to work independently and potential weekends as needed.

**Work Environment**
You will be working in an industrial box manufacturing facility with around 200 employees across three shifts. The environment is small and family-oriented. Expect regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, hot, wet, and/or humid conditions, high noise levels, and the requirement to wear hearing protection.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.

**Workplace Type**
