Career Opportunity:

The WestRock Milton facility is looking for a licensed Journeyman Electrician 442A to work as part of the maintenance team. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for the preventative, predictive and troubleshooting of production equipment.   All successful applicants must be able to provide a satisfactory criminal background check and pre-employment medical.  

Job Duties:

Ensure that safety codes and the CEC are followed Assess problems and make changes to existing electrical systems in order to improve performanceDetect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in a fast paced, environmentRepair or replace defective machinery partsGood communication skills, both verbally and written Must be able to work independently and be self-directed in a demanding, fast-paced production environment, adjusting to changing priorities & roles as requiredMust be willing to work in a team environmentAbility balancing a variable workloadFlexibility to work weekends to meet business needs. Daily use of electrical and mechanical skills to support 24hr / day production equipment.
